Great guy. Great job. Thanks Henry. We really appreciate making time for us. We were overwhelmed by all the work in our new house and with moving. You took a huge load off. Thanks. I would recommend Henry highly.Jul 6, 2016Verified
I can't say enough about Henry Castrogiovanni. He is bright, friendly, intuitive, and can juggle many things at once. He cares about what he is doing and can see beyond the immediate task at hand to make helpful suggestions. Henry has done a superior job on the various projects we've had and his ability to deal with an old house and its wide range of issues is impressive. Given that Henry and I communicate long distance on behalf of my Dad, his communication skills and follow through are outstanding.May 18, 2015Verified
Henry removed a supporting wall in our basement and redid a furnace wall. He did excellent work, and we are very happy with the result. Henry was a very friendly person, and easy to communicate (via email, text, phone). He paid a lot of attention to details and gave detailed explanation to what he has done. I can tell that he really enjoyed doing the work (not just for the money). He made great suggestions. He suggested that we install some recess lights--we did not think about it and we are glad that we listened. BTW, I have already given his contact information to a friend, who wants to do something with her basement as well.Apr 4, 2015Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing that I want to know from a customer is - Do they know what they want? If so, then I can quickly get out an estimate. If not, then we set out on a design process. I am not a designer but after 20 years of doing this I have a seen what works and what doesn't. During this process I am trying to problem solve and also determine if the customers priority is price, quality or speed. After we have an approved estimate then I collect a deposit and send out an insurance certificate and we get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been lucky enough to work next to some accomplished craftsman. That has been the greatest education. Other then that, I have been certified as a Lead Renovator by the Environmental Management Institute, I have a certification in Weatherization, I have attended several workshops and seminars. Also I read monthly publications in my field and have read and reread The Residential Building Code.
