At first I thought Michele and her staff would be a great fit for my wedding based on reviews. In the beginning of the process she was great and very responsive. When I asked about a deposit she said it was not necessary and that marking her hired on thumbtack was sufficient. From then on things got frustrating with her. It would take me contacting her a couple different times to get an answer on anything from quantities for the alcohol, to recipes for signature drinks. I was willing to work through this as everyone gets busy from time to time. I then had another vendor cancel on me and my wedding coordinator suggested to not book any vendors who are not willing to give a contract for their services. With the recent cancellation a (photographer) I thought this was very good advice as I can't imagine it coming down to the day of or closer to the wedding and having someone as important as a photographer or a bartender canceling. When I first asked Michele about a contract she seemed to oblige and said she would work something up. Some time passed and I requested again to have a contract to which she responded that she would get me one the next day. I then waited a week still with no other response or contract. Today I finally lost my patience and told her that I would be needing the contract by the end of the week or I would have to look else where. She responded that she would have to cancel. I'm not saying Michele is a bad person or a bad contract and judging by her other reviews I am in the minority with my experience. I know things come up in life that are unforeseen and luckily I still have several months until my wedding to find a replacement. I would just caution people about the potential catastrophe this could have been for my wedding and would tell others to be on top of things and make sure you have contracts in place for all vendors.

We hired Michele for our wedding 7/15. She was professional, easy to work with, prompt, and did her job very well. Also, Michele was on board with reseaching period drinks and working with us to decide which 1920s drinks to serve for our Roaring 20s Wedding. I highly recommend Michele. We were very pleased!!!

Michele was wonderful at our wedding reception - and I had a DIFFICULT wedding. She maintained professionalism and worked perfectly under pressure. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not that complicated. It depends on the distance that I need to travel, how many guests and, because it is customary to add tips, either from the client or a tip jar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always on line learning new and different ways to mix drinks and new drink recipes.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Someone told me that I could be whatever I wanted to be. After serious thought, it came to me. I just knew that this was the business that I was meant to be in.
