FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quote is an estimated figure based on the initial info. Ultimately, I like to work on a sliding-scale of what the project is worth to You compared with what You can afford. Always open to negotiation. Someone famous said something about how paying an Artist is like paying a Surgeon; the fee is not simply compensation for the specific service provided, but a gratuity for all the years spent learning and practicing that lead to being able to provide that service... My take is that goes for any professional service; in any case, I feel both sides of the exchange should be mutually satisfied with the value assigned to what the service is worth in the present deal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Intake: I prefer to get as much perspective on what Your vision is, as a foundation to build my work upon. Initiative: When there is no specific vision, I am fully comfortable building a concept from that vast potential of emptiness. And, even the most general theme can inspire free association toward thumbnail sketches for Your consideration.
