Introduction: With a life-long practice of creative expression through Hand-Made Artwork, I offer the passionate depth of over 30 years experience in every contour articulated. Whether formed as Lettering, Human Features, Abstracts, Highlights or Shadows; a "living" quality of a "breathing" presence sustains throughout my imagery. Poetic Shapes- Textured Words... A Labor of Love: Creating with my Hands is a Process that simply feels good. The attention I give to each project is full, and the quality of what I produce is based on that act of doing; what I get in return as a result (i.e. payment) is a secondary factor that bears little influence on the energy I invest. When I have the materials, receive the inspiration, and set the time and space, the rest is an unfolding of my Purpose for Being.

Justin's work checks all the boxes! Most of all he is fantastically creative and capable of producing art that goes beyond what I had envisioned.

Justin did an amazing job. He responded to my (impossible) task very quickly and was easy to coordinate with. The chalkboard looked fantastic.

What can I say? He is really just what I was looking for; Excited and passionate about art and teaching art. Very good at wisely asking investigative questions to narrow down the approach he will take. Lightning speed with getting back to me. And he taught the lesson on his birthday! Doesn’t get any more selfless than that!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My quote is an estimated figure based on the initial info. Ultimately, I like to work on a sliding-scale of what the project is worth to You compared with what You can afford. Always open to negotiation. Someone famous said something about how paying an Artist is like paying a Surgeon; the fee is not simply compensation for the specific service provided, but a gratuity for all the years spent learning and practicing that lead to being able to provide that service... My take is that goes for any professional service; in any case, I feel both sides of the exchange should be mutually satisfied with the value assigned to what the service is worth in the present deal.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Intake: I prefer to get as much perspective on what Your vision is, as a foundation to build my work upon. Initiative: When there is no specific vision, I am fully comfortable building a concept from that vast potential of emptiness. And, even the most general theme can inspire free association toward thumbnail sketches for Your consideration.
