Joe Thornton with Thornton Contracting was incredible to work with! He was the first to respond to my estimate request, honored his original quote, and kept great communication the entire time. Joe showed up when he said he would, worked late to make sure everything was perfect, and did impeccable concrete work on my porch and step. The quality of the work is great! He was able to get the pad layed and sealed within 2 days and the finished product is amazing!
Concrete work is messy, so anticipate there being bits of concrete around the pad and some leftover chunks of concrete. Also adding a release to have contrast is definitely the move, however, be prepared for the dust to get over anything and everything near where your getting the concrete poured.

Joe is a man about his business. He does not try to oversell but states facts. What I thought I wanted was for my back yard to be graded to fix puddling water. However that would have best relocated the problem. And at worst eventually brought it to my deck or house. He saved me thousands of dollars and buyers remorse. He suggested a drain (French drain). But there was a problem, his couldn't get his equipment into my backyard. So for the same price he agreed to have his crew dig it with hand tools. He was able to know this out while I was out of town. He sent before and after pictures and called. Joe keep me informed through out the entire process. It only took three days from first contact to job completion. I will be recommending his services to anyone needing concrete work or irrigation/draining.

Thornton Contracting did an excellent job demolishing and replacing our driveway.
The owner worked diligently to fulfill every request we made, and the results exceeded our expectations. Our new driveway is beautiful, and they also replaced our patio, which turned out absolutely stunning.
