Let’s talk perks of having me as your go-to handyman:
I’ve got the skills to tackle a wide range of repairs and improvements around the home. Most people hire a handyman for tasks like fixing leaks, painting walls, assembling furniture, installing light fixtures, and performing general home maintenance. Basically, for those jobs that are too small for a contractor but still require skilled hands. I keep things running smoothly without the homeowner needing to be a jack-of-all-trades.
My twenty years of experience starting on a framing crew and moving to home renovations ensures jobs get done not just quickly but correctly the first time, saving homeowners both time and stress. I pride myself on clear communication and dependable service every step of the way. Whether it’s a leaky faucet, a squeaky door, or a complete room renovation, I bring the expertise and dedication needed to get the job done right.

Steve is a true professional! He showed up right on time and gave us smart, budget-friendly options to solve our problem. His wealth of experience shines through in his careful, methodical approach.
We were so impressed, we hired him again for some painting and prep work. Once again, he exceeded expectations—keeping everything tidy and staying in constant communication.
It’s such a relief to have a local handyman who’s not only reliable but also responsive and skilled. Steve is now our go-to for any future projects. Highly recommend!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for first time clients, and lists of three or more tasks. I will work on Sundays for a premium if needed in the office by Monday.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will read the job description and reach out to discuss your needs promptly. In many cases I can offer a quote right over the phone, in others I will need to see the space to make an estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was on a framing crew in high school and college. I also worked for a retired Army Green Beret turned home renovations business owner where I learned many important lessons about discovering the unexpected in walls and ceilings.
I have always done my own renovations as well, including in an old 40's era home in a historic neighborhood of St. Louis which included a major kitchen refresh, ripping out carpet and restoring hardwood flooring, and replacing the vanity and cabinetry in three bathrooms.
