The blinds should have a small device added to the bottom to hold on to to raise and lower the blind. Significant oversight in the design.

Dear Paul, Thanks for your appreciation of our team. Please note there were cordless handles attached to the base bar to lift and lower the blinds. The shades purchased were cordless self-operated to lift and lower from the base bar. This option was budget friendly for the living room as per your wishes, but we are happy to accommodate any other operating mechanism if you chose to do so.

Once your order is ready, a certified installation expert from our team will schedule a time to come to your home to install your window treatments and walk you through how to operate them before they leave.
