We needed a cabinet cut out for a dishwasher in our dated 80s kitchen. We could have attempted it ourselves, but it was part of a larger cabinet and we weren't confident we could do it without damaging the entire configuration of cabinets and countertop (meaning we'd have to replace everything immediately). Luckily Emmanuel and Maria were up to the task and they did it perfectly! They also helped us remove these big metal awnings covering our front windows and door. We appreciated the quick turnaround because we needed them to perform the work before our electrician came to install the outlet for the dishwasher.

Emmanuel and his wife Maria are awesome! I literally contacted 12 other handymen to try to find someone to help us with a property in Chicago, and they were: A) One of the few people who actually responded B) Professional throughout all my interactions with them from beginning to end C) Honest and straightforward D) Thorough E) Knowledgable F) Obviously wanted to do a good job G) Reasonably priced H) Kind-hearted and decent people We are a nonprofit based in Ohio, and as such, we hadn't actually seen our property in Chicago. Emmanuel went to the house, evaluated our needs, gave us a free estimate for both the items on our list as well as a complete remodel (much needed!), and followed our detailed instructions very well even from afar. He gave us many photos of before, during, and after the repairs, which helped us to know what we were dealing with in the house and also built trust with Emmanuel. He even went above and beyond by doing some little extra things here and there and noticing additional issues that could require fixing so that we could evaluate and create a plan. We have several properties in Chicago, and we plan to work with both Emmanuel and Maria again in the future! I bought a new washer and dryer and the company ran into an issue with our pipes and could not install them! I hired EM Renovations and he got my washer and dryer up and running SAME DAY! Very kind and reasonably priced. We are happy campers and will be using this company for many more things!

When I tell you my bathroom looks amazing now, it's because of Emmanuel and his wife. They did such an amazing job with the tile, baseboard, all of it at an affordable price. I will definitely be using them again very soon.
