We needed a large China cabinet and hutch as well as a couch moved downstairs from the main floor. I called multiple local movers. They all wanted to charge a minimum of 2 - 3 hours plus a travel fee. The prices I was receiving were very unreasonable for just an hour or less of work.After talking to Tyler on the phone, I sent him pictures of what we were going to move and he gave a very reasonable price. In addition to the price, I felt very comfortable after communicating with him. He asked the right types of questions and understood what we wanted.The China cabinet is very well-made and solid wood with lots of glass. They remove the glass and carefully moved it downstairs painstakingly around the landing on the stairs. They took their time and did it right. I was very impressed with their professionalism and eagerness to not break anything and not rush through the move.If and when we ever decide to move it out of the basement, we will call them again as well as any other furniture moves we may need.

Hired to move a very expensive WHITE sofa off of a showroom floor. Tyler Melby, the owner, arrives not only an hour late to a business that is waiting on him but filthy and in a filthy pickup truck that he primarily uses for his actual job as a painter, mind you he is moving a brand new WHITE sofa! That he ripped on the edges, the underlining, paint on it, just filthy, black handprints all over it, the store owner, private business, offered gloves for Tyler and his friend to wear which apparently they did not need.My sofa was destroyed and he blamed it on the store owner, so he was just caught in a lie.Do not use MELBY MOVERS to move anything! He then admitted to his actions but repayment for damages were never made. Terrible service all around.Court will be my resolve. Find an experienced, responsible, reputable mover, not someone trying to make a quick buck and doesnt even cover a $6,500 white sofa.
