I called Unique Heating and Cooling based on their good reviews. Our furnace stopped working on a very cold day and we requested they come look at it if they had time. They promised to come out after their first call in the morning and that they’d be there at 10am. Then I got a text saying 10:30. Then a text saying noon. Then a call at noon saying they were running late, would be there by 1. I understand things can take longer than expected, but by 2:00 no one had showed up. I called their office and spoke to the receptionist. She took down all my info once again and said she’d call the servicemen. 20 mini later, still no word. For the sake of professionalism, I suggest being upfront with when you really think you can arrive. I’ve been sitting in a freezing house all day with my 3 kids waiting for an “I’ll be there soon” appointment that has yet to happen. I unfortunately had several places I was supposed to go to today which have now been put off too long to get them done. All of them could have been accomplished by now had I known when to actually expect the repairmen. I wanted to like this company, but so far I can’t give them a good review. I feel like this might be the most unprofessional group I’ve dealt with, and I hate to say that.
