Madi is the best photography I have had the pleasure of working with. I hired her to do a session for my undergrad graduation pictures. I will remember my graduation for many years to come thanks to Madi’s incredible work. She is also so fun to do shoots with and is soooo creative. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely be doing another shoot with her soon.Apr 28, 2020

Madeline was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is responsive, professional, and passionate about what she does. Most importantly, Madeline clearly cared about my fiancé and I on a personal level without even having met us. She consistently checked in as the coronavirus made things more difficult, and, when it became evident that we would no longer be able to proceed with our original plan, she still provided encouragement and even checked on how the private proposal went after the fact. While I cannot speak to her product quality as we had to forgo the engagement shoot for safety reasons, I know, based on her portfolio, passion, and investment in our big moment that we would have loved the pictures. I highly recommend Madeline!Apr 11, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?By investing in me, you are financially helping me to upkeep my equipment, data storage units, editing applications and my livelihood. My session pricing includes the hours capturing, hours editing, the cost of a flash drive (if applicable) and the cost of hiring a second photographer (if applicable). What is not included is a travel fee. I charge government rate (58 cents) per mile when I travel to a venue further than 60 miles from my current location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I encounter a new (or potentially new) client, I love to meet in coffee or chat over the phone! I believe communication is key to a good relationship and a successful business. My number goal is to satisfy the client through the appreciation of my work. By communicating the job and interests initially, it begins a strong relationship and makes the job, day of, editing process and return of the images that much smoother.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor's degree in Photojournalism with a concentration in Digital Media and Peace Studies. I traveled to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics to capture the culture and life of Brazil. In 2018-19, I filmed a short documentary which has gone on to win national awards. I have also attended a variety of conferences and workshops hosted by the National Press Photographer's Association across the nation.
