FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my work on an hourly rate depending on the job. Computer work is $35 per hour with the first hour guaranteed and prorated by every half hour. Graphic design is $25 per hour and typically takes between 36 and 48 hours total depending on the scope of the design. All other work is subject to consideration and all prices are subject to change. I am flexible though, and will try to meet any budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well, I start by giving a rough estimate of the cost and scope of the job. If the customer responds I introduce myself, and try to gather any and all information that may help me better serve them. Then we set a time to meet. Depending upon the work, I usually give a time the job will be complete, and negotiate terms of payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been repairing and assembling computers for over 15 years. I've been a graphic and web designer the same number of years. It's something I've loved doing since I was a teenager, and I've only gotten better. I have even helped friends who have worked in the field of computer repair over 20 years. So I've had to tackle some things even the masters had a hard time figuring out.
