We brought JA Lacy Home Services in to work on damage to our second floor bathroom and laundry rooms. The job included laying both ceramic tile and linoleum, painting, trim and vanity installation. Jeff did excellent work and when questions arose he was quick to offer advice and accept input. Almost as important as the work he completed was the way he interacted with our children. We have 5 children, all which were very interested in the work. Jeff was patient and compassionate with the children. We will definitely be hiring JA Lacy Home Services in the near future for additional work.

Jeff came out to install a fit a new gas line for a gas stove I purchased (existing stove was electric). He described what he was going need to do and why before issuing the estimate. He came back over two days later and worked all day to complete the job. The new installation works great and I will be calling him again as I need to.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Family friends.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Lots of painting. A lot of drywall repair. Plumbing-wise I replace a lot of sump pumps, faucets, re-pipes, and repair a lot of water heaters.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A customer who owns a nail salon had a plumbing company come out and check why she had no hot water. He said she needed 2 new commercial water heaters costing 5,000-6,000. Her daughter knew me and contacted me for advice. I discovered after diagnostic tests that it was an electrical problem not the water heaters. I contacted an electrical company who fixed the next day. All water heaters needed was new valves and to be reconnected when electrical problem was corrected. Saved her 5,000-6,000! Honesty is number one with me!
