- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have an audition for the person you're looking to hire. Whether it is a video or live audition, I think this is key. I've been to too many weddings where musicians haven't prepared enough or taken the time to understand how they need to fit into the situation.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish my customers knew how dedicated I am to them. When someone works with me, I hope and believe they walk away knowing that I'm doing everything I can to support their event. Upfront communication is key to my job. Talking with clients about their event and what gap they see my music filling helps me understand exactly what they need.
