As to the Why My Work stands out, I challenge the boundaries of current designs. I design my work so that a piece can be handed down for generations. When a client wants a piece refinished, the utmost care goes into delivering the look that the client is searching for. Customer interaction during the process and to see their eyes when a piece I have made is unveiled to them. That to me is priceless! Also being alone with a design and figuring out the best way to construct it. I am of the opinion that the only thing I was ever given was my name, and when past or potential clients hear my name I want them to think of quality work.

My wife and I commissioned James to design and install a custom TV frame for our 60” tv in our family room. Needless to say we were very impressed w the finished product. It was exactly what we envisioned. His workmanship and attention to detail were top notch!

Jim refinished a dining table and matching buffet that we have had for 42 years and brought them back to their original beauty. He, and his wife and son who helped deliver and return the furniture, were friendly and helpful. We found the quality and value of Jim's work to be outstanding and are planning to use his expertise on more projects this spring.

I have no standard pricing. Each project is quoted individually and the pricing can vary significantly from job to job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained for five years in furniture concepts and designs. This included how to make furniture from designs and standards to be able to stand up to the rigors of daily use.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I personally got tired of my wife purchasing "flat packs" that would only last for a year or two. So when we needed a new shelving unit I built it and had fun at it. Then that grew into this person finding out about it and then I am making stuff for family members and friends.
