I hired Wharton Construction to install a coffered ceiling in my living room and kitchen. Josh provided me with a competitive bid, a few reputable references, and a sample piece to show me what the end result would look like. The entire ceiling was a custom design, and Josh went to great lengths to make sure some of the more complex details came out looking great! And it did, we could not be more happy with our custom ceiling! He even took care of some items that were not on the original quote. I would definitely hire him again, and in fact I have. Since the completion of the ceiling, Josh has done some custom cabinetry work in our kitchen, including a built-in buffet and a chimney style range hood that matches our existing cabinetry. He did an excellent job with these pieces as well! I would highly recommend Wharton Construction for any custom carpentry work.

I hired Wharton Construction Services to do some restoration work on my home due to water damage. Their quote was within the costs estimated by my insurance company. I was impressed with Josh Wharton's courtesy, honesty and integrity. He carefully explained why the damage occurred and how it would be properly repaired to insure the problem was corrected. I will not hesitate to contact him in the future for home improvement, remodeling or repair services.

I am not at all happy with the work that was done! It was far from my expectations! I spent $5 K and I have ugly uneven gravel parking pads in my back yard that is not sloped so the rain runs off. They were supposed to spread pea gravel in my crawl space that never got completed (ran out of gravel). Way too much money for what I ended up with!

The asphalt alleys surrounding the property were busted out so there for no place for the runoff of water to travel to. I was never paid in full of said job and with a sever rain storm, any curb is going to hold water. I will be proceeding this legally.

I worked carpentry all thru high school and into college. Working both full time on a scholorship I couldnt keep up with both so I decided to go with what Im really talented at and what I love to do, build.
