Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I don't psycho-babble horse training or riding. I don't drag the training out in order to keep my students dependent on me and on an endless lesson program so I keep taking their money forever. I want you to succeed and you succeed best when you do not need me anymore or any trainer. Helping people to learn to be good horseman so that they and their horses have a great relationship and a better and safe life together.

I highly recommend this trainer and his methods. This past summer it was my job to take an untrained headstrong 3 year old mare (July) and turn her into a sound riding horse. I soon learned that I was in way over my head and needed help from someone with extensive training experience and past knowledge. That person was Bill Baehr. Bill worked with July and I from start to finish, first teaching excellent ground manners and respect of personal space, desensitization and trust, and finally the lesson that being ridden can be fun. July progressed quickly and before I knew it, it was time to lope her across open country. Amazing! I never would have thought that you could take an untrained, barely handled mare and have her learn so much so fast. Bill was not only extremely thorough and comprehensive, but he was unhurried and made sure we had the results we wanted before moving on to the next task. Riding an inexperienced horse can be scary, but I knew that Bill and I had done the necessary groundwork and I trusted him completely. By using proven training methods, Bill ensured the safest environment possible for me and my horse. Bill was also kind to the horse and very patient. The best part of the training was my direct involvement, and Bill’s belief that the rider/owner must have a hands –on role. I pestered him with many questions about how and why things were done, and Bill patiently explained everything I needed to know. He would show me what to do and I would take over and do them, while he coached me every step of the way. Learning how to train from Bill was a privilege and I would love the opportunity to work with him again. I truely believe in his methods and would recommend him to any rider, trainer, or horse enthusiast.

Bill Baehr trained my horse and she is as trained today as she was 2 years ago when he taught my horse to trust in me and her environment. She was a nasty tempered, pushy, overweight Morgan Mare that would shy to the point of danger. She was not only green she was stanky. Basically, my horse was dangerous. She is now an awesome ride for me and we have a wonderful working relationship between horse and rider, We have so much more of a connection. I love her so much because of Bill Baehr's ability to put both of us on the same page. She is my reward at the end of the day. He has been an irreplaceable tool in my path of Women and Rider horsemanship. He will instruct you and improve your level of horsemanship. As for the horse he allows the horse to learn on their own through patience and consistent animal psychology with the use of reward techniques that are tried and true with great results without any form of cruelty. He has an awesome skill and I recommend him to anyone who is truly serious about safety and horsemanship!! Thanx again, Bill. I will always be gratetful and Cocoa loves you too.

Bill helped us with our weanling - my husband and I were novices at dealing with young horses. He was wonderful - patient, kind, firm and so knowledgeable! He explained his methods so clearly and summarized everything in an e-mail so we had it to reference when we no longer had Bill. He gave us both great fundamentals and we gained the confidence we needed to work with our colt. I recommend him highly!

Bill is more than a horse trainer. He is an equine behavioralist. Not only will he approach each horse and training issue individually, but he encourages his students to understand WHY their horses behave in a certain way and HOW the process of behavior modification works from the horse's perspective. I would highly recommend him for a learning experience that will last a lifetime. If you are a passionate student of equine behavior, he is the trainer for you.
