FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no service-call fee. The estimate is free, and you get the price before I touch anything — parts and labor together, not a number that grows once the job starts. The price is the same at midnight as it is at noon, so an emergency call does not cost more than a Tuesday morning. I also offer a discount on first-time repairs — ask when you message me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You tell me what the door is doing — will not open, will not close, loud, crooked, off its track. I come out and test the springs, cables, rollers, tracks, opener and safety sensors to find what actually failed. Then I show you, explain it in plain terms, and give you the price. If you say go ahead, most repairs are finished in the same visit. Labor carries a one-year warranty.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A decade in the trades. Most of what matters in this work is not classroom material — it is knowing what actually breaks on a residential door and what only looks broken, and knowing how to handle a torsion spring under load without anyone getting hurt. Licensed, bonded and insured.
