We remodel for access. Wider doors, stair chairs, on grade entrances are but a few of the jobs we do. The cost to live outside the home today is in excess of $250.00 per day. Life changes..... We can consult with family to remove obstacle's from the home and help prevent falls. Every 15 seconds an older adult is seen is seen in an emergency department for a fall related injury, and 1 in 3 result in death.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We removed 15 barriers from a home allowing the gentleman access from his garage all the way to his master bath and bedroom. He was able to return home and live at home. He was also able to access his yard and pier when weather was nice.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a remodeling company that trades with sources other than the big box stores. Do the products offered have a For Ever Warranty? Does the company have a Certified Aging in Place Specialist on staff.
