Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We not only care about the safety and comfort of your pet. We also care about their overall well-being, which includes nutrition and mental health. We feed Precise Super Premium pet food to our boarders, so that they get premium nutrition while they are here. We play music in the kennels and utilize aromatherapy to calm the anxious pets. Because we understand the importance of light on your pet's emotional well-being, lights are always on during the day in the kennels if the pets are closed inside due to the need to provide additional heating or cooling of the kennels. We strive to make your pet's boarding or grooming experience better each time they are with us. We work with them to overcome whatever issues they are dealing with. We understand that every dog is different and make every effort to find what method of handling works best for them. As a result, your pet will know what to expect in future visits and will be better able to handle the situation with less stress. Seth and Amber have had Great Danes since 2003 and Whippets since 2004. They have been active in many dog sports, including Conformation (dog showing), Agility, Obedience, Rally Obedience, Lure Coursing, Racing, and Herding. They are members of the Great Dane Club of America, Hoosier Great Dane Club, Muncie Kennel Club, and Muncie Obedience Training Club. They have been blessed with many valuable mentors in everything dog-related and strive to continue learning as much as possible about dogs, dog behavior and training, and dog nutrition. One of Amber's main passions is to help a dog reach their full potential for health, behavior, and training utilizing a solid base of nutrition.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We find out what they are wanting for their dog while boarding with us and attempt to accommodate that. We treat every dog as an individual.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked with dogs since 2003 in a variety of dog sports and other activities. Training dogs and working with dogs hands on helps people to become more comfortable reading dogs and handling them in general. I have been mentored by some of the most knowledgeable people in the dog world and specifically the canine nutrition world. I use my knowledge and experience with canine nutrition to help improve my dog customers' health and well-being.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find out what they do with their own dogs. The more they interact with their own dogs, the more experience they are going to have to deal with dogs in general.
