These guys are awsome! Their attention to detail is impecable. They built a deck for me and spent a lot of time educating me on the various material types and made cost effective recommendations that fit my budget. Watching them go the extra step to make sure my deck was stronger than required by code, these guys really beefed up the structure in the high traffic areas. At the end of the job there was minimal waste and I felt good that their material budget was very accurate.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because of the different material and terrain issues, one price doesn't fit all... the best way to know if your in the right area of cost is by getting the material list from Menards and multiplying it by 3..if your estimate falls with in 2 to 3 times material cost you are usually not being taken advantage of.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was 17 at the time..49 now, I took a building and trades class in Highschool, Loving it ever since.

Usually it's DEcks built on the ground level...or on the water better known as docks
