FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I charge $100 for the first hour, and then $15 for every 15 mins after which figures to roughly $60 an hour If I'm doing time and material. However if the customer and I discuss pricing as a overall set job price, which some projects do fall under, it can vary depending on job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I've learned each experience is as different as the people/customer. Each has different thought processes, as well as interaction with a handyman/contractor. They either see you as someone that can help or someone who doesn't care, therefore I try to show my customers I do care about more then just the almighty dollar. Building a friend like relationship is key with my customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands on training. Electrically I was trained by a 30+ year union journeyman.
