My name is Allyson Rohde and I have been a stylist in Lincoln Park in the city for 14 years. I have also been an in salon educator for 10 years and have traveled and educated myself one on one with THE top educators in our industry like Nick Arrojo, Vivienne MacKinder, Fabrice Gili, Mark Hayes, Candy Shaw, so that I am rounded in many techniques from french razoring to Vidal Sassoon precision. I work with an Italian color line that I have educated on for 8 years in salon and had the chance to visit the factory and educate myself in Rome. I also have been doing free lance wedding/events hair and makeup for 8 years. I have a published library and these hands have even graced the hair of Jarod Leto lol.
I also have my own personal studio I work out of in NW Indiana in the town of St John.
So I travel Chicagoland and NWI as well as into SW Michigan and lower Wisconsin.
I take color and cut appointments at my NWI and Chicago location as well.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience! She showed up right on time and worked efficiently while still delivering beautiful results—I loved both my hair and makeup. She even managed to fit in an additional service without running behind, which really speaks to her skill and professionalism. I’ll absolutely be booking her again for future events in Indiana!

If you are trying to decide on who to hire for hair and makeup for your wedding, think no more. Allyson was absolutely amazing!! My wedding was 8/24/24. Everybody kept talking me how beautiful my hair and make up was all night long. My Bridesmaids looked stunning! I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. My entire bridal party plus myself are not big on too much make up so Allyson was in for a bit of a challenge with us. She listened to what we envisioned for ourselves and exceeded our expectations. The make up was not caked on and looked stunning in photos. Not to mention she has the best prices you'll find anywhere. People are crazy with what they want to charge for wedding make up. They hear wedding and want to take advantage of you with sky high prices. Allyson made the process quick and easy. I did my bridal trial and felt so much pressure relieved when I met her. Her personality is awesome and we hit it off. She will forever be my go to person for any future events I have! I'm so happy I found Allyson to do hair & makeup for my wedding day. There were three of us and I was worried it would be too much for one person, but she made it seem easy-breezy and we all looked (and felt) beautiful.
