Introduction: I specialize in helping people over age 50 restore their health so they can enjoy their retirement years! With over a decades worth of experience, I help people create happiness through improved physical, mental, and emotional health! I help people lower their body fat percentage, gain lean muscle mass, and increase balance and coordination. I specialize in corrective exercise, cancer exercise for those who are going through or have completed chemotherapy or radiation, as well as trigger point therapy to help restore joint motion and reduce pain. I have had people tell me that I have helped them more with a couple sessions trigger point therapy than they received in months of physical therapy! I help people relieve stress through stretching and meditation. I help people feel better, look better, and feel better about themselves! I have experience working with high school athletes, parents who are getting around to taking time for themselves, as well as people who have recently retired. I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. My Corrective Exercise Specialization is from NASM. My cancer exercise specialization is from the Cancer Exercise Training Institute. I am NOT someone who enjoys or regularly writes reviews. So, for me to say that Phil has drastically improved my quality of life is not an understatement. When I first came to Phil, I had pain in both of my feet, and in my knees, and in my legs to the point where I could hardly get out of bed in the morning. I was a 29 year old, former college athlete, who was experiencing failing health because I could not even go for a walk or stand for long periods of time without much pain. I needed help to climb down just a few stairs. Meeting Phil changed my life. Phil’s knowledge of trigger point therapy and corrective exercises, his compassionate, genuine heart and willingness to help others made him easy to trust from the beginning. I’m often skeptical of trying new things or spending money on therapy. However, Phil was never pushy. He spotted me in pain at the gym one day and offered to help that day for free. He even gave me suggestions about equipment I might want to purchase and possible exercises I could do to help eliminate my pain and he seemed way more interested in helping me than in getting a new client. I could have left that day without planning to see him again and I know that Phil would still have felt successful just knowing that he had helped someone. However, after the few exercises he had me try, I felt noticeably better than I had in months. I knew that I needed to go back! Phil’s practice of trigger point therapy eased my pain from day one and made it possible for me to see hope again! His help allowed me to continue my job and to finally get out of bed without excess pain after months of doctor visits yielding no improvements. After every appointment with Phil, I felt less and less pain and more like my old self. To this day, he often spends more time than my allotment on my therapy because he is so passionate about making sure I leave each appointment feeling better than when I came in. Although I came to Phil at the end of my rope and feeling little hope, his upbeat and encouraging personality as well as his willingness to listen without judgement have totally turned my attitude around. I wouldn’t have made it through this past year without his help. I am so thankful for his patience and his skill! I look forward to transitioning out of my therapy and into a physical training program with him because I know he is always on the cutting edge of health, fitness and nutrition. I have completed my first two months with Phil and have seen significant improvements. I am mending from a torn meniscus, bone on bone in this particular knee, and years of pain and swelling. Drastic improvements inthe first two months. I am pleased.

I am currently training with Phil. Training with Phil has been great and I definitely feel better since I've started. Phil has great communication and runs a great training session every time.
