Meet Mike Gunn For owner Mike Gunn, appreciating art, the beauty of nature, and the gratification of a hard day’s work runs deep. Born and raised on a farm, he developed a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a deep admiration for his grandfather, a professional artist. Upon high school graduation, he utilized his eye for design and satisfaction of being outdoors by working for a friend’s landscaping company. He instantly knew he had found his calling. Mike attended Vincennes University where he earned his degree in horticulture and landscape design. After working for other landscaping companies and feeling dissatisfied with the quality, Mike decided to venture out on his own. He founded Gunn Landscaping in 2011, a full-service boutique landscaping company that has earned a reputation for quality, creativity and professionalism. His goal is to raise the bar of what most homeowners and businesses expect from a landscaping company and be a one man show for all of his customers’ outdoor living needs. Mike has earned the trust and loyalty of a strong client base by establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with his customers. He loves to learn about what his clients need, give recommendations, and problem-solve the creative process around his customers’ works of art.
