FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically don't use a standard pricing because I feel each project is unique and could require different tools or approach. A tree planted in a front yard close to the street will almost always cost less then the tree in a backyard with limited access.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to meet with each customer to listen and get the full scope of each project. Once I have an idea what they are looking for, I can share my thoughts based on my 30+ years of experience. Some projects are small, so I can leave them a proposal for the work, while others might take some additional thought and time in order to present a more detailed proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a professional degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. I started in the landscape business at 15 working for my dad on weekends and summers while growing up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
