FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not a super complicated pricing system just need to see each project before a solid quote can be presented.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important to me that I can give each client my undivided attention when we first meet and walk through the project. I either silence my phone or leave it in my vehicle while I am with a client. It's important for me to catch all the details and to work around the clients schedule whenever possible. I am sensitive to someone else's busy schedule and I try to be as flexable in that area as possible. Also at times clients that call on a professional to come and look at their project are nervous and anxious. Perhaps they are stressed about needing the work done, the cost or having a stranger/strangers in their home. But I love to talk with them and see them start getting excited about the project and by the time I am leaving they seem far more relaxed and they are smiling and happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is primarily in real estate which having that background does help the basic understanding of structures and well rounded knowledge of all things home. I also do some research on line and like to stay up to date on the latest changes in paints, stains and varnishes. They continue to decrease the VOC of these products and make them as "green" as possible. Also on line is the best way to see what is trending right now in colors and styles.
