- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, I was fascinated by the wonder of Electronics. I loved tinkering with electronic devices, and learned in my early-teenage years how to fix things like calculators & floor-standing stereo speakers. It was just a Hobby then. As I grew older, I decided that I wanted to work on Electronics as a Career when I grew-up. I wasn't advantaged like some kids, but I had a Dream. I didn't let it go. Some of those dreams are still far from my current reality. But I still believe in them. I started working for a few companies after I got my Degree, and I learned allot. I cannot talk about what those companies were, but you can't work for them if you want to do more than what they are willing to hire you for. So, I decided to work for myself. I quickly learned that you are actually working for your Clients. And I still feel that they are the Boss. This perspective is what makes my clients experience different from the kind of experiences they get from competitors. But I'm not competing the same way they are. You see, I don't make my interests control what I do. I let the Clients needs determine that. And I go from there.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what Services you need. Most people do, but the Simplest of things are often the most important. If you need any Home Electronics repaired or serviced, have the your Model # & Name Brand of the device ready. It is also helpful to know details about the type of Installation you need for things like HDTV Wall-Mount or Home Theater Installation. This gives me a better Idea of what you need done, better knowledge for giving estimates, and it lets me know what Tools I need to prepare for the job.
