- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I still take lessons in both singing and piano from my professors who I had in college. There are always things one can learn in their field, and I for one take that very seriously: if I'm not at my current best, how can I expect to give anything worthwhile to my students? I also attend conferences in both disciplines, piano and voice, on a yearly basis to see what new things are developing.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am a very fun-loving person. I like to crack jokes and tell fun stories to students to ease nervousness, or any frustrations they may have with a piece of music. However, I am fully capable of being hard-nosed with students if they don't put forth effort or always want to joke around and not work. It's a tough balance sometimes, but it works out well!
