In my opinion Kevin Creel is simply the contact you want to have for your HVAC issues. Tremendously impressed with him and his expertise. I request service on a Burnham boiler/furnace. I made contact with referral from Thumbtack. That gentleman started out well, explaining to me a CO problem that necessitated buying a brand new boiler. He also mentioned the part that was bad. He never suggested getting into the boiler to thoroughly clean it out of the rust and debris. Then when I was ready to purchase the part that he diagnosed as the issue he still attempted to move me to simply purchase a new boiler. I then called Mr. Creel at Climate Pro and explained my situation and that I did not want to get a new boiler. Mr. Creel explained what he could do and that he would come out. Mr. Creel looked at the boiler, explained to me in terms that I could understand and then proceeded to do what no other contractor was willing to do. He told me he believes that it would not be a problem to get the boiler up and running. The boiler had not been cleaned in many years. He explained to me that the cleaning he would do should take place every 3 or 4 years. Mr. Creel then removed the rusted top, exposing the inside of the boiler. He then explained to me that while the boiler is old and rusty it simply needs a thorough cleaning. He showed me how the rust was causing the CO problem in the area of the boiler and that the boiler needs to be cleaned out to allow the flames to go up in the boiler and the gas to go through the vent pipe. He brought in his tools and began to clean the entire inside of the boiler out and remove the rust and debris. He then put the boiler back together, he bled the radiators throughout the house, and then fired the boiler up and it works wonderfully! Mr. Creel then thoroughly cleaned up the area around the boiler! I could not be more impressed with his expertise, professionalism and honesty. I understand that contractors are in the business to make money but Mr. Creel's integrity does not allow him to take advantage of a customer who is at their wits end! Thank you Climate Pro! Thank you Kevin Creel! Continued business success and happy customers like me.

The company moved my boiler pipes in the basement to make way for a new exterior door. The work was fast and professional. The price was higher than I expected, however, multiple companies simply refused to do the job, at any price. The company coordinated with my remodelers, which was a great help. Again, many other HVAC companies I approached for an estimate told me that they just didn't do remodeling jobs, only repair and service. Overall, I'm glad I found David and ComfortFactor and I will keep them in mind for my future HVAC needs.

Super excellent experience! Our heat broke in the middle of a cold wave and was fixed the next day. It only took a couple hours and he did not try to sell us a new furnace! All it needed was a new part and he happened to have it in his car - and done. Fantastic job, polite, professional, and very affordable. Five stars! Thank you!

I was in need of a furnace circuit board replacement. Troy was swift with a reply for my issue and he was available the same day. I sent the part number to him along with pictures and he was able to get me a part quote with labor within a few hours.

Raymond was very responsive, on time, and fixed the issue quickly and effectively, while not charging me an arm and a leg. In fact, he fixed something that another contractor had fixed using the wrong fuse. I plan to use him for future work on my system.

Ray was responsive, attentive, efficient and very thorough in explaining and trouble shooting the whole entire repair process of getting my furnace back up and running. When I woke up around 7:30am, my house temperature was 63 degrees and falling. I texted Ray and he responded immediately and was able to get to my home within 30 minutes. Ray explained to me my options of buying the parts to repair my furnace and also eventually getting a new updated furnace. He recommended specific brands to purchase in the near future. However, Ray was able to replace two furnace parts and saved me $2,200 for now. My furnace is 20 plus years old and eventually will be replaced. I will definitely have Ray install a new furnace around tax refund time. At any rate, when I got home from my night class my house was nice and cost at the normal 71 degrees. I am so thankful that I found Ray on and would recommend him to family and friends! Thank you so much and God bless you Ray!

gas igniter switch needed to be replaced. A technician came out same day. The diagnostic fee was reasonable. The issue with identified within an hour and although the technician did not have the replacement part, he went out to get one and replaced the part and had my furnace fixed within another hour. Based on this experience I would trust this company with other jobs down the road.

Dave is smart, experienced, and honest: He gives you all the information you need to make the best, most economical choice for your situation if there are options (like which replacement furnace to install), and he explains what he's doing and what to expect. He's not there just to spend your money and leave. He knows you'll probably need an skilled, straightforward HVAC expert, and he wants you to think of him when you do. And he doesn't leave a big mess!

Jonathan was on time (actually 10 minutes early) to a precise appointment at 2:30pm (no long appointment windows). He was thorough but efficient, and even explained a lot of the problems to me so we could work out a temporary solution and he could come back to fix the more complicated issue. I would (and am) use him again.

Heat wouldn't come on. Repairman came over later on the same day (Friday) I had put in a request. After a thorough check of our Burnham gas boiler, during which he explained to me what he was doing, he found that there was a problem with the vent damper (which controlled the ignition) and that there was also hardly any pressure on the boiler. The fill valve was really old and had a missing part (was told these valves need to be replaced every couple years). I asked him if the vent damper had to be replaced, and since I'd been having trouble with it off and on in the past couple years, couldn't we just bypass it altogether? He consulted with his boss over the phone and told me that was indeed possible. After he was done with determining what the problems were with our system, he gave me the bill for the labor done that day but he said I didn't have to pay it that day. The following morning (Saturday) he called me back and gave me a detailed description of what needed to be done and what the replacement parts would cost. If I hired the company, the fee for his labor of the previous day would be waived. On Monday morning, two other repairmen from ACC&H came over and installed a new ignition control (goodbye pesky vent damper), a new fill valve along with a back flow preventer, and a 1/2 shark bite ball valve. They checked the pressure and bled all the radiators in the house. After the job was done, one of the repairman took the time to explain to me what they had done. Everything was done in a timely manner and for what seemed to me a reasonable price ($470 for parts and $385 for 4.5 hours of labor). Based on this experience, I heartily recommend Atlantic Coastal Cooling and Heating.
