We are a husband and wife run company. We have been in customer service, licensed electrical, home remodeling, construction and home repair for over 15 years. Otte Electric repaired the electrical mast that had been pulled off the house when a tree limb came down on the power line. They coordinated with KCPL and the City for permits and inspection, and were very responsive. Great work, great price. Cassie in Prairie Village

Dani & Cohen went above and beyond all our expectations. They met our move in deadline, suggested ideas that we hadn’t thought of, and kept the line of communication going throughout the whole process. They met our electrical, plumbing and painting needs. Otte Electric was very professional and knowledgable about my electrical needs. They completed the work when they said they would and they answered all of my questions and adjusted to my changes throughout the project. The quality of work was great and they were responsive to calls and texts. They were Awesome to work with, I will definitely hire them again and I will refer them out to my friends and clients.

We had Otte Electric and Home Repair LLC finish our basement. Not only did they listen to the ideas I had but when I was at a loss for ideas they walked me through other options and gave me choices. On top of all that, they worked very diligently to ensure they had the highest quality work. I was incredibly impressed with their craftsmanship as they custom built several parts of my ideas into the design. I honestly believe that if you are looking for work to be done well and correctly, Otte Electric is exactly the company for you! Cohen and Dani were amazing to work with, patient, kind, and fun. They talked me through everything before they did anything and made sure we were on the same page. I am beyond pleased with this company and the professionalism they provided.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in partnering with the customer to figure out what works with their family budget. We don't mark up materials crazy amounts, we charge fair prices and are a hard-working, honest family.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a time to meet the customer, look at the job, get to know the customer a little bit so there is a comfortable relationship that begins, put together a free estimate and then schedule the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed electrician and went to technical college to earn that license. I have been doing electrical and home repair for almost 20 years. My wife has a BA in business and had managed a bank for 13 years before leaving to run our business full-time when our daughter started kindergarten last year.
