Introduction: I can provide any cuisine wanted, from simple to gourmet. A large amount of your menu will be organic, homegrown, and homemade. A percentage of the proceeds will go to benefit my nonprofit organization, Black Betty Org., which will serve to subsidize government assistance programs and reconstruct social programs through the practice of organic gardening. I am a 1997 culinary arts graduate. I graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University. I have worked at many noteworthy places such as Southern Hills Country Club (in which I participated in the 2001 U.S. Open and the 2007 PGA Tour) and as a sous chef of the Polo Grill, Tulsa, OK ("The Most Awarded Restaurant in Oklahoma", DiRoNA award, and the Triple A Four Diamond Award), as well as the food and beverage manager/executive chef for Golden Eagle Casino/Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas. I have recently been appointed to the USDA Fruit & Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee for a three-year term by Secretary Tom Vilsack for my work in creating agricultural-based social programs as well as my culinary expertise. I absolutely love what I do and the fact that I get to fulfill both of my passions: cooking and philanthropy.
