FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are done on a case-by-case basis. I usually begin with a free consultation and then submit a bid for the customer to approve. There is no charge or commitment until materials are purchased. Service calls are $60/hour with a one hour minimum and billed by half hour increments after that. I also charge sixty cents per mile traveled to defray fuel and vehicle expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person whenever possible and discuss what the job needs. Once I find out the scope of work I spend some time looking up material prices from multiple sources to get the best deals. Then I work up a bid and if it is accepted we set up a time to get the work done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started working in the electrical field in 2005 and have been in this trade ever since. My work experience includes new residential, commercial, remodeling, and service work. I have been licensed in Montana and Kansas and have run my own business in both states.
