When searching for an attorney, make sure you hire someone with whom you feel comfortable. Especially in family law, you are going to have to share a lot of intimate details of your life with this person and you can't do that if you are afraid to talk to the person. Additionally, if you want an attorney who is willing to tell you the truth not just what you want to hear. Unfortunately there are not a lot of guarantees in the legal profession and if someone is guaranteeing you that they can get you a specific result, they probably aren't being honest with you.
