USPTA Certified coach with 12 years experience. I coach all ages and skill levels, from first time playing to the collegiate level.
Everyone has their own unique play style, and I like to tailor my concepts to each individual. My style covers all areas of the game from the technical side of helping with swing development, as well as the physical side of having the proper movements and body mechanics. I am also a certified Personal Trainer and like to apply my knowledge to help improve ways to become a better athlete for players, as the modern game has become more physically demanding. I do have a patient approach to be able to help all players improve each day to achieve their goals, being to improve to play in a competitive league/tournament, making the team at your school, wanting to play at the college level, or just enjoy playing with your friends.
I have always had a strong interest and great passion for being a tennis coach. I am dedicated to always learn about the game and improve my abilities to help maximize the potential in all of my players.

Brian is great with my 14 year old daughter. She decided she wanted to play tennis on the high school team as she was going into her freshman year. She knew nothing about tennis and is not very athletic. He has been very patient with her and adjusted his teaching style and lessons to fit her needs and ability. He is always positive and encouraging. She thinks he is great. I am so glad we chose him for her instructor. I can’t imagine using anyone else now.

My daughter and I have both taken private lessons from Brian for several years. He’s very accommodating on scheduling and does a really great job of breaking down the components of the game in a way we understand, and when one note isn’t working he adjusts and approaches it a different way that clicks with us. We really look forward to our sessions every week!

Brian is an excellent Coach. I can rely on him to be on-time, hard working and vested in my growth as a player. He does his homework to be prepared for our sessions, responds very quickly and is nice, professional, polite and courteous. I couldn't be happier with the results so far in our short time together (7 sessions). I'm looking forward to an excellent summer working with Brian (he's also an excellent stringer).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price is $50 per person. I do have semi-private/group lessons, and those are $10 extra per person - eg $60 for 2 people, $70 for 3 people, $80 for 4, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I briefly evaluate the person when meeting them for the first time, then I will construct a practice/program on what needs to be improved on. I also work on improvements requested by the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a USPTA certified tennis coach with 10+ years of experience, as well as being a coach at a tennis club for 5 years and coaching at two high schools.
