Introduction: Arthur Murray has been leading the world in ballroom dancing since 1912. We teach social and competitive dance. From foxtrot, waltz and tango to salsa, rumba, or cha-cha and more, we teach it all! We specialize in teaching singles, couples, and groups of all sizes and weddings, business functions, charity events, competition and social dancing for all ages. If you have prior dance training or not, we can customize your lessons to fit all of your dancing needs!

Our instructor, Tavier, was patient with our total beginner skill level. He was intuitive and encouraging and we progressed quickly with his guidance doing a modified Rhumba square. Tavier is all about positive energy. We think we can dance the couples dance at our daughter's wedding now without embarrassment (there was definitely that possibility).

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Lenexa is a wonderful place to learn to dance. The instructors are not only very professional and knowledgeable, but also a lot of fun. They make dancing really enjoyable and exhilarating. One reason is that they listen to their students and make dreams come true. You can learn a lot of different dances, from traditional ballroom dances like waltz, foxtrot, and swing, to salsa, bachata, and even line dancing! For anyone who wants to learn to dance--whether for a wedding, just for fun, or for more serious events like dance competitions (which are very exciting!)--I can highly recommend this studio.
