Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: For me it's about love, connection & authenticity. My goal with every photo is to capture magic little moments otherwise forgotten in the chaos of life. The look of adoration in his eyes when you laugh at his jokes, the way the sunlight filters through your hair as you walk through wildflowers, the open mouth, toothy smiles that come from laughing so hard your stomach hurts ... these are the memories I want to preserve and the ones you'll treasure the rest of your life. If you're looking for posed perfection and static smiles, I'm probably not the right photographer for you, but if you're wanting the real, the honest, the perfection of imperfection and the beauty of spontaneity, I'm your girl! So let's go get lost somewhere and make beautiful memories together. I promise we'll have fun and I'll always bring snacks. Always.

Recently we had Jocelyn take our daughter's baptism photos. She did a wonderful job capturing our daughter's sweet quiet personality. She was so patient even as it was more chilly and cool then expected. We loved our photos and her ability to see beauty in the simple moments.

Jocelyn's natural talent and ability produced beautiful shots of my active, wiggly, and not always photogenic (goofy camera smiles) young ones. She was patient, and crawled all over the place just to be in position for some wonderfully spontaneous and fun photo ops. Jocelyn allowed them to feel comfortable and the outcome was more than I could have ever expected. Our family was lucky to be in front of her lens, and I would not hesitate to use her again and again.

Jocelyn was a dream to work with. This was my first portrait session ever and she was so helpful In guiding me through it all. She was personable and made the whole process comfortable and fun.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I consider myself a perpetual student of photography. I don't think I will ever know it all, therefore I continually read books, articles, blogs and anything else I can get my hands to help me understand more fully the art of photography.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I'd love for people to let go of any preconceived ideas about what their images should look like. It's much more fun for us to create something together instead of trying to recreate what others have done.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What style of photo are you looking for? Traditional, creative, fun, sweet, etc. What kind of location are you looking for? Rural, urban, forest, open space or structural, etc. What will you do with these photos? Post online, print, create a book, etc.
