About
I have spent just over 25 years in law enforcement with experience in both investigations and training. I am a defensive tactics instructor, terrorism response trainer, CPR/First Aid/AED instructor, BLS instructor, KS firearms/concealed carry instructor, and KS/MO Notary. I have been teaching skill-based classes for over 20 years and have real-world experience in the fields in which I teach. I enjoy seeing people gain and maintain confidence in their performance of critical life-saving skills.
NOTARY SERVICES:
I am a notary for both Kansas and Missouri and am available for Remote (RON), Electronic, and traditional notary services. I can travel to your location, meet online, or meet in Lenexa, KS for KS clients.
The cost for notarization is $25 for the first signature, which includes notary fee and travel/remote notary expenses.
Each additional signature is $5 if done in the same signing session. If needing to meet separately or online, it will be $25 for that signature.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/INVESTIGATIONS:
I specialize in Pre-employment/general background checks with experience conducting background checks for the US Marshal's Service. I also provide work comp surveillance and other insurance-related claim investigative services.
CPR TRAINING:
CPR and BLS classes are scheduled regularly on the website at our training location in Lenexa, KS and can be scheduled at your location to accommodate your schedule as well (many of my daycare providers take advantage of this!)
SECURITY/PROTECTIVE SERVICES:
If you need protection services, we provide Workplace Violence Prevention / Executive Protection through education and providing a physical security presence when needed. This includes high-risk terminations and being present in case of threats made against the workplace. We provide plainclothes, "blend-in" attire in a discreet manner as not to disrupt the work environment or we can be present in a traditional and professional uniform.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Investigative services range from $70 to $90 per hour (plus expenses), while the CPR training starts at $50/person for basic and $65 for BLS or Professional Rescuer. Group discounts for CPR start at groups of 10. I always try to match other bids when possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As an investigator, I will talk with the client to determine what the specific needs are, and then review what service I can provide to meet that need. It may be surveillance, a database check, or both. We will determine together the available budget and length of time needed to achieve the client's needs.
For Workplace Violence/Executive Protection, I will go over the specific threat and need with the client and come to a preset duration of physical security presence needed and/or presenting a workplace violence class.
With the CPR training, I determine which training is needed, answering any questions they may have, and then working out the best schedule for both. Some clients need basic CPR, some need more advanced training such as BLS.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
24 years in law enforcement and security, 20 years experience in the training field, and paramedic school.
In my law enforcement career, I have investigated everything from vandalism to two homicides, and have been trained in (and worked) protection details when working as a Federal Police Officer.
I have been a police academy instructor, and am currently an American Red Cross instructor. I am also a Missouri Approved Provider of Continuing Education for law enforcement and a licensed Private Detective through Kansas. This license includes the firearms endorsement/license and monthly training for Executive Protection and Workplace Violence Prevention security services.
