FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Investigative services range from $70 to $90 per hour (plus expenses), while the CPR training starts at $50/person for basic and $65 for BLS or Professional Rescuer. Group discounts for CPR start at groups of 10. I always try to match other bids when possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As an investigator, I will talk with the client to determine what the specific needs are, and then review what service I can provide to meet that need. It may be surveillance, a database check, or both. We will determine together the available budget and length of time needed to achieve the client's needs. For Workplace Violence/Executive Protection, I will go over the specific threat and need with the client and come to a preset duration of physical security presence needed and/or presenting a workplace violence class. With the CPR training, I determine which training is needed, answering any questions they may have, and then working out the best schedule for both. Some clients need basic CPR, some need more advanced training such as BLS.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
24 years in law enforcement and security, 20 years experience in the training field, and paramedic school. In my law enforcement career, I have investigated everything from vandalism to two homicides, and have been trained in (and worked) protection details when working as a Federal Police Officer. I have been a police academy instructor, and am currently an American Red Cross instructor. I am also a Missouri Approved Provider of Continuing Education for law enforcement and a licensed Private Detective through Kansas. This license includes the firearms endorsement/license and monthly training for Executive Protection and Workplace Violence Prevention security services.
