Introduction: I am a creative photographer currently located in between Lawrence and Kansas City. I enjoy working with new clients, new areas, and most of all, creating awesome photography!
I started as a kid in 4-H with a 35mm camera and quickly learned the new trends through classes, conferences, and personal research. I am an artist by heart and love to make lasting memories! I do just about any type of photography, striving to start in new areas.

Whitney has been an absolute pleasure to work with! She did our engagement and wedding photos. We had so many gorgeous images from our engagement session I had to make four different save the dates because we couldn't choose just one! I cannot wait to see our wedding photos because I know they will be amazing! Whitney was fun and easy going. She really put us at ease on our day. She gives very clear and concise directions which kept the day moving nicely. Whitney is wonderful at capturing candid moments as well as beautifully posed photos. I really cannot say enough nice things about Whitney! She also brought a second photographer to our wedding which I am very grateful for! Liz was also great and the two of them worked together perfectly. I highly recommend Whitney and will definitely use her again in the future. Her prices are extremely reasonable and you won't be disappointed in the quality of images you will receive. Thank you Whitney and Liz for capturing our big day!

The best wedding tip that my husband & I could ever give anyone, would be to choose Whitney Cathleen Photography. Our minds were at such ease the day of the wedding as we knew Whitney would be amazing & capture our wedding day so perfectly. Whitney is so personable, kind, artistic, accessible, organized, reliable, and most importantly--talented. My husband & I absolutely loved working with Whitney. She did our engagement and wedding photos..and we will be using her for all of our photography needs in the future! When we had our very first photo shoot for our engagement pictures, I was so incredibly nervous, but she made the session so much fun & we were both so comfortable. When it came to planning our wedding day pictures, she walked through the schedule with us & made sure everything we wanted captured, would be captured! My husband & I did not see each other the day of our wedding, so we had to pack in family pictures, pictures of the wedding party, & pictures of my husband & I after the ceremony AND before sunset & the reception started. This was absolutely no problem for her as she truly made it ALL happen! Whitney is exactly what you want for capturing your 'moments' on your wedding day. She has such a great talent! Whitney took my daughters Senior Pictures and she did an amazing job! It is the best pictures I have seen of my daughter as well as she allowed my daughter to go to different places to take her photos. She has very reasonable prices for the great work that she does!
