Needed some assistance with an outdoor ceiling fan that was attempting to escape. John was easy to get a hold of and we had the repairs finished in less than a week. We will keep him in mind for other home repair project as they come!

My husband and I hired John to tape, mud and sand our kitchen. He had the most reasonable price and did it all in one weekend. We had to leave him in the house by himself a few times and were never worried. He got along well with our dogs! We were very happy with the results and he even gave us a few pointers for other projects in the kitchen that were yet to be completed. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! And we will definitely be giving him a call if we need any other contracting work.

Excellent work patching/repairing our mantel with spackle and paint. It wasn't an easy job, and ended up taking three days with all of the time needed to dry. He was always on time, responsive and he wanted to do a great job. He also filled two woodpecker holes while he was there. Great guy, and work ethic!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself to the customer and let them introduce themselves to me. I listen to the customer describe the project they envision. I discuss the project and offer any suggestions I may have that could enhance the overall usefulness or beauty of the project. When the planning stage of the project is complete I get to work applying my skills and craftsmanship to complete the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of doing projects with my dad and six years apprenticeship with a top contractor in the Kansas City area.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of the Flagstone porch, landings and steps I did in August 2014. It is a work of art. (See pictures of it on my profile.)
