We have used the photography services of Gwen Morris on several occasions. My daughter needed a headshot for a pageant and Gwen captured some breathtaking shots of her! In fact, some of the photos Gwen took were awarded at pageants! Gwen was very patient and accommodating for wardrobe and hairstyle changes. We have also used Gwen for some of my daughter's dance photos, Once again, Gwen delivered some fantastic shots! Gwen is imaginative and her lighting and editing skills are superior. Gwen did the photoshoot at her studio and she was there right on time ready for us and the proofs were ready for viewing in a few days! She also gave us some sneak peaks to share with family and friends! I would highly recommend Gwen Morris photography to capture your special moments in a relaxed and fun atmosphere!

I have used Gwen Morris Studio for multiple photo shoots and have always been blown away with how wonderful the photo session and resulting photographs are. My favorite session was the glamour photo theme birthday party for my daughter's 13th birthday party. The 4 girls were made to feel immediately at ease in front of the camera with the genuine kindness of Gwen. The girls had a blast and I wish I could share those pics on this review. The studio is an old quaint farmhouse complete with a rusty old truck out back which is a great photo prop in of itself. Gwen is the whole package for a photographer: kind, talented, fun, detailed, and a genius behind the lens with lighting etc.

The location was beautiful. I wanted the fall colors for my twin sons senior photos and Gwen delivered. We were given so many backdrop and pose options. Gwen tried some fun and unique poses for my twins (arm wrestling). To top it off, the quality of the finished product was exactly what I wanted. Gwen being so sweet and fun made the photo shoot perfect.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial conversation we set an appointment that is convenient for you. After the session is finished I immediately begin the editing process. Once your images are finished I will send you a link to your pictures and you can immediately download them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually am attending workshops and mentoring with other professional photographers. I have a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction Higher Education and I write curriculum. I have photography, Photoshop, Lightroom and lighting workshops that I conduct at my studio on a regular basis.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father freelanced as a photographer and I was always very curious and excited about the final product. When I retired from 32 years of teaching I knew that photography was exactly what I wanted to do.
