Brian is a Kansas City based headshot and portrait photographer passionate about creating amazing images and lasting relationships. He specializes in corporate, model and actor headshots along with senior and portrait photography in and around greater Kansas City area. Located in Paola, Kansas and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Brian is confident in both urban and rural shoot locations and a master in lighting and composition. So whether you want that grungy West Bottoms look, Soft hay field sunset, or water side lake scenery Brian knows the locations and will deliver stunning images. Brian started out his photography career as an ariel freefall photographer and video producer for several of the top skydiving centers in the Midwest. 15 years and 1200 skydives honed his skill working with the public under very intense conditions. In 2011 Brian started his portrait studio with a focus on high end headshots and high school senior pictures. For 8 years he has built a reputation for excellent customer service and images that captured the purest emotions. His images portray the beauty and spirit of clients and locations.

I did a Tandem Skydive jump and had Brian record the whole thing. He is very personable and easy to work with. Has a lot of experience and knows exactly which shots to get to make a perfect video. Brian also edited the video and provided me with a great finished product on a VERY timely manner. Highly recommended.

I used Brian as my videographer/photographer for my first skydive. Brian made the entire experience AMAZING. He is able to incorporate different styles according to each persons unique event. Anything from a 'reality tv style' to an 'intimate wedding' session. He was very professional but so much fun! He communicated with me very well even after to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with everything we had done, and was easy to reach with prompt responses. We will be using him in the very near future for a photography session which we are very excited about!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a very simple pricing structure. I don't nickel and dime my clients. I don't believe in the upsell tactics that squeeze people for every dime. I offer an affordable service and have a great time with my clients. I would prefer repeat clients who will give referrals over bleeding clients for maximum profit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
after the initial contact I will work with my clients in the manner they choose to get a clear understanding of what they want for their images. My goal is to work as a team for the end result. I can direct someone who is unsure or I can take direction from a client who has a vision and goal. I strive to exceed my clients expectation with amazing images and service that is second to none.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied under Scroggins Photography and followed the renowned headshot photographer Peter Hurley. 20 years in the industry and 10 years in portrait photography speaks volumes.
