Joel did a fantastic job working on my home!! He re-did several walls, moldings, painted, and tiled my bathroom. I was so pleased with his work! His professionalism and attention to detail far exceed any contractor I've ever worked with and the finished product was more beautiful than I could have imagined.
Joel has a strong work ethic, is punctual, and takes time to do each step with thoroughness and care. He was also friendly, responsive and respectful of my home and requests, and affordable.
I highly recommend Mai Carpentry! You can tell how much he cares about the quality of his work, which is rare to find, and I'm so happy I went with Joel!

Joel expertly helped me turn a Bluebird School Bus into a beautifully designed and finished tiny house/rv.
Complete with a bed, couch, shower, cabinets, shelves, and tongue & groove ceiling. The highlight of the space is a custom made walnut live edge kitchen countertop. Joel really impressed me with his attention to detail and patience during the process from top to bottom, from the detailed wood work to helping me engineer the electrical and plumbing to fit a custom space. I highly recommend, he has a vast skill set, is honest, very hard working and just a great guy!

Joel did a fantastic job remodeling the upper floor of our home. He installed new trim on the entire upper level and made gorgeous new headers for our doors and windows. He also installed tile in two bathrooms. It looks amazing and turned out better than I imagined! He was responsive, asked questions so he got it just right for us and kept the workspace very clean. I can not recommend Joel enough!
