- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working on my marketing degree at Saint Louis University and landed an internship with a communications firm in Kansas City. I fell in love with everything about the public relations events side of the business which led to me going back for my junior year at Saint Louis University and getting a part time job at a high-end wedding venue as a server/bartender. That is where I knew I had a calling for doing events; my legs never tired, the smile on my face never faded, and no tasks were left undone. Summer back in Kansas City was full of weddings and events every day of the week; and even through those long days/nights my fire for starting Celebrations of Love never waded. April 7th 2010, Celebrations of Love - Wedding and Events by Christine was born!
