I have more than 30 years as a professional artist, and work in a variety of mediums. I have the ability to create 3D surfaces as well as the illusion of a 3D surface. I also enjoy painting children's murals. An example of my 3D work would be a giant 3 dimensional hamburger for a restaurant that I created to compliment their theme.
I enjoy working with new clients, coming up with a solution that will uniquely fit their needs. Every job is different and I enjoy the challenge. I love the client's responses as they see the artwork take form and especially the finished paintings.

Leigh was great! So responsive and accommodating even when I wanted it done super fast. She came out through a snow and ice storm to get it done for me! And while she put it up she offered a bunch of inspiring ideas to help me make my home beautiful. What a gem! Made my remodel project so much better. I'd recommend her again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend her work. Great work ethic and very trust worthy. We needed a wallpaper job done pretty urgently and she made it happen and we are SO grateful for that. She went above and beyond. Leigh did a wonderful job installing wallpaper in my powder room. My home is over 90 years old so the walls aren't always plumb - which means perfect seams are really hard to achieve. Leigh showed me where one wall was going to have an uneven seam - not her fault! - but she told me that because she's an artist, she could use her painting skills to correct any uneven spots. And she did! Everything looks beautiful. I recommend her very highly.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the client to see the space they want painted, and access to the space. I then sit down with the client and work up quick sketches and discuss the project in some detail to make sure we are on the same page. I require a deposit to pay for materials and the design work. When we have a suitable design that the client agrees to, I begin the painting on location.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Kansas State University. I have worked as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Teacher, Freelance Artist and Muralist.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a graphic designer and illustrator. I painted murals for my own children's rooms. My paintings were fairly large to begin with so murals were a natural progression. I love public art and the purpose of art is to be seen and enjoyed. People love having their ideas come to life. I can make that happen for my clients.
