- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Based on breed/size, current condition of the coat, and behavior. All of our prices include a bath, blow dry, brush out, toenail clipping, ear cleaning, gland expression if it's needed, and haircut/styling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We may require additional time to allow your pet to adjust to a new groomer in a new setting. Pets who are shy of the blow dryer or clippers will also be given extra time and patience throughout the grooming process. Until we get to know your pet, completion times cannot be guaranteed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our grooming department manager, Kari, has over 30 years experience grooming in all settings - around the country. Kathy, our compassionate bather, demonstrates extreme attention to detail and dedication to making each experience at Bark in Style @ The Dirty Dog a positive one. Our professional groomers, Jessica and Mercedes both have more than 2 years experience in professional groom shops in the Topeka and surrounding area and have been specifically selected for their extreme patience and handling skills with difficult doggies or those who are less than enthusiastic about being groomed.
