Introduction: I am a 3D Modeler/Designer.....I work in the Aerospace Industry....so....I do this here.... for fun......I am NOT in the Residential/Construction Business....I am in the Manufacturing World.....Big difference altogether.... few people can 3D Model faster than me... few people can make a 3D Model more efficient than mine..... few people can make a 3D Model more adaptable than mine..... few people can produce results faster than me.... few people can make/produce drawings of your idea faster than me..... few people can make/produce drawings of your idea better than mine..... I am not being proud, just being honest.....and thorough...that's all I do modeling for individual parts, simple/complex assemblies, sheetmetal/flatpattern design work, 3-axis machining, 5-axis machining, drafting, concepting, will soon be doing 3d-printing prototyping, so obviously, I am versatile to say the least. I have seen a lot of designers in my line of work in the last 15 years all across the United States, from Seattle, Washington to Destin, Florida; from Utica, Michigan to Redondo Beach, California. Trust me when I say......Many lack several things..... motivation integrity honor detail honesty conscience and if I do your project, you will always know, few will give you the results better than mine, just being honest again. Let me know if I can help you. My name is Glenn, and no project is too small for me to do. I designed the Entire Gibbon Exhibit, for the Manhattan Zoo, in Manhattan, Kansas, so I do know what I am talking about. I designed only the cages, and all of the cage door assemblies, with all of their complexity that they have. I absorbed the Architect's sketches, broke everything down, developed the 3D Model of everything, so any clashing of things could be discovered in the model. I created an entire 3D Kinematic Model of the entire Exhibit. I did find dimensions in the building, that were not per the architect's drawing, so my models of all the cages and their assemblies had to be altered, to reflect the actual building condition The project was a total success! This was the largest project I had ever undertaken. I produced shop drawings so everything could be manufactured/pre-fabricated, then installed on site. But just remember, no building construction. Building construction itself are always per building codes, that only local contractors deal with on a daily basis, since they are familiar with the codes. Let me know if I can help. I enjoy the entire experience in the 3D modeling. Being able to create something from nothing, and know not everyone would be able to do the same, like sewing a dress, or making pastries. Every task has its own complexities. If I understand what is needed, I can make it happen. Since I work for myself, I can always know the job I do, will always be what the customer wants, and my customer will be satisfied, knowing they got more than what they paid for from someone else.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

if the customer tells me exactly what they want me to do, sometimes, depending on what is involved in their request, sometimes I do the job half or a third the cost of anyone else, because it was easy for me to do.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Getting the details. Getting the information from them is the hardest part of the job. My intent with starting a new job with someone else, is to get them what they want. Once they have what they hired me to do, I just want to be paid for my time. What they do with whatever I created for them, is up to them. Their idea, their gold. That is where honesty and honor and integrity comes in. I actually have those things. I rely on my reputation where ever I go. This is something people are lacking today. They never have to worry about me selling their Idea. I do what I say I do.
