FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer three programs for people in regard to what type of workout and exercise experience they have. All of the sessions in these programs are by appointment. That allows the client to get 45 minutes of exercise without having to wait on a bunch of other people tying up equipment and all that overcrowding and noise of the big gyms. For the person who wants to do their own thing, I offer a $30/month program that includes membership fee, access to all equipment, eight 45-minute sessions by appointment. You schedule the time and the place is yours. I am here to supervise and help out if you need a spot or have questions. For the person who wants to workout but likes to be trained while doing it, I offer a $60/month program that again includes membership, eight 45-minute sessions by appointment, training in whatever type of exercise you are wanting to do and information for nutrition and supplementation while you are involved in training. For the person that doesn't know a lot about health and fitness and what to do to make the new lifestyle changes, I offer a custom design program. It is $240 for 12 weeks and includes two 45-minute sessions per week by appointment, initial assessments to establish the baseline for the program, bi-weekly assessment sessions to measure all that positive progress the client is making, a training regimen that is set up with the goals that the client sets themselves in mind, nutritional and supplementation information and some other goodies for making those gains to achieving the goals set at the outset. All programs are renewable at on the first of the month, the custom program at the end of the 12 weeks. There is no contract that requires the client to be a member for a year or longer like a lot of the big boys require.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I have a new client come in, the first step is to find out why they are here. I can focus on just how serious the person is about making that big step to changing their health and fitness lifestyle. After a short question and answer session, we can take a few measurements that will give the person a bit of information as to their current level of health and fitness.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) as a Fitness Trainer and also a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. I am not a licensed dietitian, but can offer information for nutrition and supplements with regard to needs for workouts and competitions. I was mentored by my personal trainer for a year and half, where I learned many ways to workout from resistance training to free weights to cardiovascular. I don't have the big fancy devices of the big gyms, but with what I have available, I can provide a pretty tough and beneficial workout. I have recently passed a program for marathon training. I can assess your running and work with you on a training regimen to help you attain your running goals.
