- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Have you ever heard the phrase: "You get what you pay for?" Well, I am a full service, award winning, published photographer. If beautiful artwork of the best quality is what you are wanting, I am the right choice. If price is the most important, I will not be your first choice. My session fees begin at $450. This fee includes my time and creative talents. Printed photographs, artwork, and heirloom albums are purchased in addition to this fee. My clients typically spend an average of $2000 on their portrait order.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we will talk by phone to set an appointment either at my studio or in your home for an initial consultation. This meeting is free and where we will discuss what you are looking for. Its here we will both decide if our partnership will be a good one. Once you decide to move forward with the portrait sitting, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to reserve your requested date. During the weeks or months leading up to your session, I will send you tips to help with choosing the right wardrobe for yourself and your family, if applicable. All of the details, no matter how small, put together guarantee the perfect portrait. The total due on your package is due by the date of your sitting. Once we are done creating the portraits, we will meet again to reveal your gallery of images. This is the best, yet most difficult, part because you will love them all and have a hard time choosing your favorites. Once we finalize your choices, I do some final touch-ups to all of the images and will see you again when I deliver your artwork to you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've earned my degree in photography and graduated at the top of my class, Summa Cum Laude and a member of the honor society Alpha Beta Kappa. I'm also a member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) where I am constantly learning new and improved techniques.
