Introduction: When I was a newly married young woman, my father, who himself was a great, creative cook, gave me a copy of The Joy Of Cooking. A few decades later, my Joy of Cooking is stained with cooking ingredients and the margins contain notes about how the recipes turned out, what I did to personalize them, and how my family and guests responded. I have an aptitude for knowing what ingredients are complementary and often develop recipes of my own. I specialize in soups and stews, seafood, pasta, salads, chicken, and dishes incorporating eggs. I believe in using the freshest, healthiest seasonal fruits and vegetables and using healthy fats, such as olive oil in cooking and creating sauces. As far as cuisines are concerned, I enjoy Italian, Asian, and American. If it's comfort foods you are looking for, you'll want to try my turkey loaf, grilled cheese sandwiches, spaghetti pie, and lentil soup.
