FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a trainer, my standard is $15/hr. This price may move up or down depending on what the client has to offer (lower income clients can negotiate lower prices) and what the client is asking of me as a trainer. For workout plans, I do simple, weekly plans for $30, personalized 12 week plans for $50, or I can do long term workout regiments or strength and conditioning plans for athletes and civil servants, though the prices will vary according to what I am being asked of as a trainer. I offer nutritional recommendations, though I cannot offer full fledged diet plans as I and NOT a registered dietitian. I do however, offer macro nutrient spreadsheets in which I can give you total number of calories a day you can consume a day for weight maintenance and adjust that for weight gain or loss, as well as a simple protein, carb, and fat breakdown of those daily intakes for $25. Alternatively, I can work with someone to create a food journal, assist the client in evaluating his/her diet, and make recommendations for $65. If you are interested in multiple of my services, package deals are negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to initially establish goals and availability of the client, and then proceed to evaluate current fitness levels and lifestyle so to best create a plan tailored to the clients wants and needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition. I am personal training certified though NASM. I am CPR/AED certified. I have numerous certificates concerning infant development and nutrition.
